Why not Christmas? Or Halloween? Or Thanksgiving? Or Easter?
Because New Year's Eve means new beginnings, a fresh start, a blank page, a new chapter...
I'm always up for a new day, which is why I'm glad I don't have to limit myself to an annual restart. God's mercies are new every morning.
