And I who have been on this earth 6 plus decades now, really appreciated this latest one. Was a great reminder to slow down and live in the moment. Thanks for taking the time to put in all this work keeping up this blog. p.s. I hope Pat knows what a wonderful writer you are! Looks like he could use these good points in a sermon??? :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605816413368612595.post-2508315816225187672009-07-30T12:43:48.042-06:002009-07-30T12:43:48.042-06:00Lovely. It takes me FOR-EV-ER to unpack this office today because I love caressing the covers of my books as I place them on the shelves, and remember the memories of the time when I last read each page. I am the queen of distraction. My brain is constantly dreaming and my body resists movement because where's the serenity in that? (According to my stubborn mind, of course.)

God makes us the way we are for a reason. It is interesitng that I would rather be like you -- hitting the day at break-neck speed instead of having a long and thoughtful conversation with a lamp post. What the reasons are we probably won't know until we are with Jesus forever.

I don't know why I can't be more balanced, but I suppose that's one of the lessons I have to learn on this earth until Jesus comes!

I love your blog! Love the look of it, too. Did you design it yourself?

Love,
Karla, a new Internet SisterKarla Akinshttp://karlaakins.tumblr.comnoreply@blogger.com
